Guylian Sea Shells Extra wins 3 stars Superior Taste Award 2010 elected by 120 renowned Chefs and Sommeliers
The International Taste & Quality Institute awarded Guylian Sea Shells Extra with the Superior Taste Award 2010 with 3 stars, which is the highest ranking. The extra dark Belgian Chocolate Sea Shells have an exceptional overall score of over 90%, thanks to a remarkable high appreciation of their intense taste and lingering aftertaste. These Belgian pralines were also given very high scores for general first impression, appearance (their beautifully sculpted shapes) and refined scent.
The International Taste & Quality Institute is the leading independent Chef- and Sommelier- based organisation dedicated to testing and promoting superior tasting food and drinks from around the world. The jury consists of 120 renowned chefs and sommeliers from 12 of the most famous European culinary and sommelier associations. Products are blind tested, without packaging or any other identification. Only 14.5% of the participating products in 2010 have won the Superior Taste Award of which only two are chocolate products.
